Ana Gonçalves

Ana Gonçalves is a fashion designer and teacher. She graduated in Costume Design from ESMAE — School of Music and Performing Arts in 2009 and has a degree in Fashion Design level III from CITEX (2006). Since 2019, she has been co-director of ESAD's Fashion Design degree programme, where she teaches two courses. Her professional career includes activities such as training, teaching, fashion design, uniform and costume design, styling, fashion production, window dressing, curating, exhibition design and art direction for events.
In 2013 she curated the exhibition Peças em Peças at the Fábrica de Santo Thyrso, which she later redesigned to be exhibited at the National Museum of Costume e and the National Museum of Theatre and Dance in 2016, under the name Peças em Peças: Do Figurar e do Traje. In 2014 she launched the children’s clothing and accessories brand ROCKET PEAR, where she worked until 2019 in design, modelling, sourcing, production guidance and monitoring.
