Directorate-General for Higher Education
Scholarships
Enrolled students wishing to apply for the Directorate-General for Higher Education Scholarship should go to the ESAD Office to pick up their access credentials and apply online on the Directorate-General for Higher Education website. The scholarship applies to the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels of study.
Submitting Proposals
The scholarship awarded by the Directorate-General for Higher Education is based on an assessment of the income and expenses of the applicant’s household, in line with the Regulations for Awarding Scholarships to Private Higher Education Students. Applications are made directly on the DGES website.
Application Submission Deadlines
The application for a scholarship for one academic year must be submitted:
- Between 25 June and 30 September;
- Within 20 working days of enrolment, when this takes place after 30 September;
- Within 20 working days of proof of the start of the internship issued by the organization offering the internship, in the case of bachelors or masters students undertaking a professional internship.
If registration takes place before 30 September, the student has 20 working days to submit the application, even if the deadline is later than 30 September.
Without affecting the provisions points and the previous paragraph, the application may also be submitted between October 1st and May 31st, in which case the amount of the scholarship to be awarded will be proportional to the amount calculated under the terms of this regulation, taking into account the period between the month following the submission of the application and the end of the academic term or internship.
Candidates who already have accreditations will be able to renew their scholarship application for the next academic year from 25 June.
Candidates who have applied for a scholarship through the National Competition for Access to Public Higher Education have to contact ESAD's social action services to transfer their scholarship application to our school.
