Every year, ESAD awards Creative Talent Scholarships to candidates for its degree courses.

These scholarships are awarded, through the Coelho dos Santos Prize, to all students who, in addition to applying to ESAD courses, submit an application.

The three scholarships involve the award of a sum of money equivalent to the tuition fee for a full academic year.

This prize is awarded annually in honor of José Coelho dos Santos (1943-1997), professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto and co-founder of ESAD.
