Scholarships
The Blue Design Alliance is an initiative that promotes a higher education program dedicated to one of our planet’s most precious resources: water.
This initiative offers scholarships for Higher Technical Professional Courses (CTesP), taught at ESAD, and Postgraduate Courses. All the courses are practically focused and allow you to embark on a professional career where the theme of water features prominently, as well as caring for the ecosystems of rivers, seas and oceans.
The Blue Design Alliance is supported by the Portuguese Recovery and Resilience Plan.
The ESAD/Blue Design Alliance Scholarships are part of the Blue Design Alliance consortium, which is part of the PRR's Youth Impulse STEAM and Adult Impulse programs.
The scholarships are awarded to the students with the highest average entrance grades, after the applicants have been ranked, and do not require an application of their own. Students who apply for the courses included in these programs are automatically considered for scholarships. Scholarships can be awarded for up to the full tuition fee, depending on the program the course is a part of.
Scholarships and attendance on the courses included in these programmes are only available to residents of Portugal, i.e. anyone who is permanently resident in Portugal or who has a residence permit valid for the period corresponding to the normal duration of the course and a national tax identification number.
Youth Impulse
Impulso Jovem aims to promote and support initiatives aimed exclusively at increasing the higher education of young people in science, technology, engineering, the arts and maths, by offering degrees and other initial higher education courses.
