Esad students honoured internationally — pg in illustration and digital animation

Ana Lopes and José Teixeira, students on the Postgraduate Programme in Digital Illustration and Animation, received a Merit Award this month in the iJungle Illustration Awards 2023, in the New Talent (Student) category, out of more than 3429 illustrations from around 60 countries.

The iJungle Illustration Awards is a competition aimed at celebrating the art of illustration worldwide. The competition is aimed at illustrators, agencies, representatives, students and teachers from all over the world. This year's edition includes 6 categories: Book, Editorial, Comic, Commercial, New Talent (Student) and Self-Promotion.

The winners of the competition will see their work published in the iJungle 2023 Illustration Annual, in order to reach Art Directors, Illustrators, Representatives, Gallerists and Curators around the world.

The jury for this year's competition was made up of Eve Liu (USA), Changyu Zou (CHI) and Allan Deas (UK).
