Selection procedure for junior researcher (phd)

The hiring aims to conduct scientific research activities in the scientific area of Arts and Design, or other similar ones such as Architecture, under an individual work contract with non-fixed term, under the Portuguese Labour Code, to perform research functions within the cultural and scientific activities programme of esad—idea.

This competition follows the protocol to support the development of R&D activities, agreement between the Foundation for Science and Technology, IP and esad—idea — association for the promotion of research in design and art, within the Institutional Scientific Employment Stimulus Competition.

esad—idea is ESAD’s Design and Art research centre, classified as Very Good by FCT. It oversees the cultural programming for Casa do Design and the Design Hub in Matosinhos. esad—idea produces books, exhibitions, workshops, also organising Porto Design Biennale.
