A space to meet and exchange views with prestigious national and international professionals who will present their careers, processes and reference projects within the scope of the Degree in Digital Arts and Multimedia.

— ALEXANDRA RAMIRES
5th April, 2h00-4h00 pm, Auditorium
Alexandra Ramires, film director and author of the acclaimed and multi-award-winning animated films Elo (2020) and Água Mole (with Laura Gonçalves, 2017), is the first guest of the open classes on Analysis and Criticism of Contemporary Media. Alexandra will show her work and talk about authorship and creation, cinema and animation. Class open to the ESAD community, presented by Eduardo Brito.

Tito Mouraz, photographer and visual artist, author of the books / photographic series A Casa das Sete Senhoras (2016) and Fluvial (2019), among other works exhibited and published over more than ten years of activity, is the second guest of the open classes on Analysis and Criticism of Contemporary Media. A key figure in contemporary Portuguese photography, he comes to ESAD to present some of his work and talk about the essence of photography and his career as a photographer. Class open to the ESAD community, presented by Eduardo Brito.

— ANDRÉ LETRIA
19th April, 2h00-4h00 pm, Auditorium
André Letria, illustrator, visual artist and publisher, is the third guest at the open classes on Analysing and Criticising Contemporary Media. Author of dozens of books since the mid-1990s, he has won the Gulbenkian Prize, the National Illustration Prize and an Award of Excellence for Illustration, among others. His books have been published all over the world, from the USA to Poland, from Brazil to Italy. He is a regular presence at the Illustrators' Exhibition at the Bologna Fair. In 2010, he set up the Pato Lógico publishing house. He's coming to ESAD to present his magnificent career. Class open to the ESAD community, presented by Eduardo Brito.
