Metamorphosis

Metamorfose is a collaborative editorial project carried out in partnership with UDIT - Universidad de Diseño y Tecnología, Madrid, Spain, as part of the 100th anniversary of Franz Kafka's death, with the aim of promoting cultural and professional exchange between students and educational institutions, with the support of the ERASMUS+ international mobility programme.

The year 2024 marks the centenary of the death of the writer Franz Kafka. It's the right time to honour Kafka by developing a creative project. Metamorphosis is the chosen object of study and the central theme of this tribute, due to the symbolic charge it represents. Published in 1915, this work remains a transcendental novel that explores themes such as alienation, loneliness and the loss of communication. The narrative, supported by fantastic language set in a surreal universe, raises profound philosophical and existential questions related to identity, freedom and despondency.
