  • Sofia Domingues / Hidroval
In a world where water is becoming an increasingly scarce and precious resource, it is essential that we understand our society's water footprint and explore strategies to ensure the sustainability of water resources. In this talk, we'll discuss the current landscape of water use, examining how our daily activities impact local and global water resources. We will address crucial issues such as efficient water management, water pollution and the consequences of climate change on water resources.

In addition, we will discuss innovative and practical solutions to promote water sustainability, from water conservation and reuse to the implementation of environmental technologies and policies. We will also analyse the role of companies, governments and communities in promoting responsible water practices. Finally, we will explore the future prospects for water sustainability, considering emerging challenges and opportunities to create a future where water is accessible and preserved for future generations. This talk is intended to be an open discussion about the present and future of water and the fundamental importance of our society in preserving it. This session will be organised by Sofia Domingues, a scientific researcher in the field of Biomedicine and Marketing and Communications Director at HIDROVAL.
