Fashion Accessories
Fashion Accessories is an intensive course dedicated to the world of accessories, designed to offer a comprehensive, practical and dynamic overview of the sector. It is based on a clear premise: accessories must be studied with the same depth, rigour and critical relevance as any other area of fashion design — understood in their historical context, mastered in their technical aspects, analysed in terms of their business model and observed from an internal perspective within the sector. Over the course of six thematic modules, students explore the history, technique, design and business of accessories: from bags and footwear as structural elements of a collection’s identity, to the brand strategies that underpin their launch and positioning in the market. The methodology combines theoretical and practical components, incorporating the analysis of real-world case studies. The course culminates in the development of a final project — The Signature Accessory — in which students design their own accessory, underpinned by creative, technical and strategic criteria.
