ESAD closely follows market trends at the CLO Summit 2026

ESAD was represented at CLO Summit 2026 in Munich, an international event that brought together professionals from the fashion industry to discuss the evolution of 3D and its integration into product development processes. The central theme was the consolidation of these tools as an integral part of companies’ workflows, rather than their use in isolated projects.

Among the case studies presented, Lacoste shared how it has integrated 3D throughout its workflow, highlighting the importance of a structured training programme for technical teams. Hypedrop, part of the Bestseller Group, demonstrated how combining artificial intelligence and 3D can shorten lead times and support on-demand production. s.Oliver presented the complete digitisation of its fabric library, which enabled the desired fit to be achieved in the first sample. Zalando and Vivienne Westwood also shared the progress they have made in adopting these technologies.

The event also featured the announcement of the winner of Rising Talent Europe, a competition in which ESAD was represented by two of its students, providing them with an opportunity to engage with new industry practices and challenges.

ESAD’s presence at CLO Summit 2026 reinforces its commitment to keeping knowledge up to date and strengthening connections between the academic community and the professional sector, while following the digital transformation of the fashion industry.

ESAD would like to thank CLO Academic for inviting us to take part in the event.
