Ten female photographers from Portugal, Brazil and Africa join forces with ten female writers in a collection dedicated to raising the profile and promoting the photographic work produced by women across different Portuguese-speaking regions.
Curated by Ângela Berlinde Ferreira, a researcher at esad—idea, the collection explores themes such as the body, memory, identity and representation. The accordion-fold format brings together photography, writing and editorial design in a reading experience that unfolds across the page.
The esad—idea edition brings research from the ESAD ecosystem to new audiences through distribution and sales in partnership with PÚBLICO.
There are ten volumes, released every Friday between 16 October and 18 December 2026.
The first volume features photography by Rita Lino and text by Catarina Barros. RRP per volume: €12.90.
