Marcelo Almiscarado, student of the Degree in Fashion Design, won the 3rd prize in the Young Fashion Contest.

The event was held at the Association of Port Wine Companies and was attended by 20 students, who represented 14 national fashion schools, with materials from 20 Portuguese textile producers, based on the theme Magic Trip.

The PFN New Creators Contest aims to stimulate synergies between the industry and the young creators, who start from the use of the fabrics made available by the partner companies to create their coordinates, being directed to all the national fashion schools.

In addition to a monetary prize, the student also got the opportunity to have his coordinate on display at the New Talents Forum of the next Modtissimo, which will take place on October 2nd and 3rd, at Alfândega do Porto.

In 2018, Luís Sandão and Ana Castro had won the first and third prizes, respectively, in the February issue, and Ashma Karki the first prize in the October issue.
