Would you like to represent your course?
The Pedagogical Council is the body responsible for pedagogical coordination at ESAD. It brings together student and lecturer representatives to ensure that both groups participate in the school's management and in discussions about teaching and learning.
What does being part of the Pedagogical Council mean?
It means taking part in discussions and decisions that help shape the conditions in which teaching and learning take place at ESAD. As a representative, you have the opportunity to bring your peers' questions, concerns and proposals to the Council, contribute your own perspective and take part in discussions about possible improvements.
- Teaching and learning
Express your views on the pedagogical guidelines and teaching and learning methods used at ESAD. - Assessment
Take part in discussions about assessment and the approval of the regulations governing student assessment. - Courses and study plans
Give your opinion on the creation, amendment or discontinuation of courses and on the organisation of their study plans. - Academic calendar and examinations
Express your views on the academic calendar, examination schedules and the composition of examination boards. - Pedagogical issues
Examine complaints concerning pedagogical failings and propose the necessary measures to the School Board. - Proposals and new ideas
Put forward new ideas and opinions.
Why is participation important?
Being part of the Pedagogical Council allows you to follow discussions on these matters, bring visibility to issues affecting the academic community and help ensure that different perspectives are taken into account.
The Council is made up of seven student representatives and seven lecturer representatives. Participation also involves attending meetings and keeping up with the matters under discussion. Being a representative therefore means making a commitment to representing your peers and contributing to the work of the Council.
Voting
Voting will take place on 5 November, between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm, next to the Bar.
On this day, students and lecturers will be able to vote for their respective representatives on the Academic Council.
