Digital Arts and Multimedia students win awards in Fuerteventura

The film CATAYSA, featuring Digital Arts and Multimedia student Michal Wilk, received the Best Student Short Film award at the Rani Durgavati International Film Festival in India.

The project was developed as part of a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) mobility in Fuerteventura. It brought together a group of students for a collaborative filmmaking experience, under the guidance and supervision of ESAD lecturer Carlos Amaral.

Michal Wilk contributed to the film as screenwriter and director. The work had already received an award at the second edition of the Festival de Creación Audiovisual Mirafondo in Fuerteventura and continues to reach international audiences.

This recognition highlights the work developed through international mobility and the students’ involvement in collaborative projects across borders.
