It is with an exhibition, Playtime: Industrial Design for Modern Life, that on November 18 will open the doors of space esad-idea. The inaugural event, which will be attended by the Prime Minister António Costa, the Mayor of Matosinhos, Guilherme Pinto, and several other entities and individuals, will include the public presentation of the Architecture Project and its Functional Program and Inaugural Exhibition (with Presentation of the Jornal da Exposição).
INAUGURAL EXHIBITION
The exhibition Playtime: Industrial Design for Modern Life confronts us with technological innovation, the formal simplicity of the various objects and the empathy they arouse in the user. We are faced with a set of emblematic pieces of the industrial design history of the second half of the twentieth century.
The exhibition Playtime: Industrial Design for Modern Life is curated by Maria João Baltazar and José Bártolo. It is an exhibition that brings together more than 150 emblematic objects of industrial design in the second half of the twentieth century and through which it is intended to promote the approximation of design and research to different audiences. The exhibition will be open to the public between November 18 and January 27 with an associated programming.
