A former ESAD Fashion Design student, he was a finalist in the Sangue Novo competition organised by Moda Lisboa, where he presented his [P]LUMES OF DISSIDENCE collection.

The Sangue Novo competition supported by Seaside aims to publicise the vision of the new generation of Fashion Design for the present and the future and to raise awareness of the sector's identity and social issues.

In this second and final phase of the competition, 6 selected projects were presented on 8 March at 5.30pm at Pátio da Galé (Lisbon), the day on which the winners of the IED - Istituto Europeo di Design and RDD Textiles awards were also announced.

The Sangue Novo competition, organised by Moda Lisboa, has been promoting the creative work of young designers in Portugal since 1996.
