Para Além do Espaço Físico is a project about mental disorders, an emerging theme in today's society, presenting a sensory installation that seeks to bring the viewer closer to the individual with a disorder and that, in a visually appealing way, arouses curiosity, sensitizes and educates, replacing stereotyped concepts with scientific explanations.

The project, developed by Vítor Barbosa, Ana Macedo, Bárbara Gomes, students of the Degree in Communication Design, was selected in the Open Call for Projects launched by Porto Design Biennale to be presented at the Palacete Viscondes de Balsemão, in Porto, from October 12th to November 12th.

It was developed within the scope of KYRT Space - Keep Your Radar Turning, a transversal work project of the Degree in Communication Design at ESAD, which crosses several curricular units and their students and teachers in a reflection on themes focused on the promotion of citizenship.
