Juliana Cunha, 2013/2014 Fashion Design finalist, will present her work at the platform Sangue Novo [New Blood] in the 42nd edition of ModaLisboa.
Her path has been marked by the participation in Eurotex ID Italy and in the competition Jovens Criadores Modtíssimo, having won the 1st place at the Nespresso Designers Contest.
At her first time in Sangue Novo, she will present Wattled, a collection of rabbets inspired by dynamic pieces of art, mainly the eccentric creations of the British artist Karen Ryan.
Juliana Cunha joins Catarina Oliveira, 2012/2013 ESAD finalist, who marks presence at Sangue Novo for the third time with her collection Search, thought for strong personalities, composed by oversized silhouettes and stampings inspired by the pigments of the human being’s skin.
Her path has been marked by the participation at SMLXL Fashion and Design Week at Fábrica de Santo Thyrso and also in the Dutch fashion festival FashionClash.
The runway show takes place on 10th October, at 18h00, at Pátio da Galé in Lisbon.
According to the organization, on 10th October, with 10 designers and 10 perspectives: 10 collections to anticipate the summer 2015, a generation to guarantee the future at a platform that is already our future, Sangue Novo.
