The ‘Buildme toy’ is made up of two different packs, made from woodfoam and ABS plastic, designed for children aged 2 to 6. The first pack, designed for the 2 to 3 age group, includes a 393 x 393.7 x 233mm base and universal modules that are connected by triangular ABS pins fitted into 41mm holes. These pins, with 52mm ends, guarantee a pressure fastening, taking advantage of the elasticity of the woodfoam. The set also includes multidirectional spherical wheels, allowing for new forms of movement and interaction.

The second pack, for children aged 4 to 6, features a modular and reversible structure that transforms into a bicycle without pedals, a tricycle or a rocking horse, 428mm long. The configuration can be changed by replacing the axles and adding swing hoops. The structure includes ABS protections in the areas of greatest friction and an adjustable seat measuring 207 x 145 mm, fitted with 20 mm protected holes. The mobile components are joined by a 13 mm rotating axle, fixed by a perpendicular pin, guaranteeing stability and durability.

This project was developed as part of the Synthesis Project course, corresponding to the Final Project in Undergraduate in Product Design. The proposal consisted of developing a product based on the theme of energy, with students able to choose between three sub-themes: well-being, fun or safety.
