This internship report presents the design of an autonomous electric vehicle for the integration of click-and-collect services, which aims to promote a more sustainable and efficient distribution of online purchases, with a zero carbon footprint. The project is being carried out in parallel with an internship at Ceiia. The vehicle is used when a consumer makes an online purchase and wishes to receive it at a predefined location and time. It is designed for the year 2030/2040, which, according to the study, will be crucial years for a change in behaviour against climate change and for promoting this type of service that encourages more sustainable urban mobility. Autonomy is applied to the driving of the vehicle and also to its parcel delivery system, which promotes a whole new design vision in which the entire space of the transport vehicle is designed around the autonomous delivery system rather than for passengers. This allows all this space to be saved and dedicated entirely to its functionality. To achieve this goal, various topics and visions of what is desired for the future in the urban mobility sector are addressed. The topic of smart cities is explored, as well as how certain spaces will be adapted for new solutions.
