The short film entitled Echoes of Solitude (2024), produced and directed by the final-year Digital Arts and Multimedia students (2023/2024) - Christoph Wanderer, André Peneda, Diogo Cervantes, Pedro Carvalho - won 2nd place in the Sophia Student Awards 2025.

This short film was made as part of the Metamorfose (2024) initiative - the 100th anniversary of Franz Kafka's death - a creative, editorial and collaborative project developed in partnership with the Universidad de Diseño y Tecnología, Madrid, Spain (UDIT), and in the context of the Multimedia Production and Multimedia Narratives curricular units. The project was supervised by lecturers Marta Varzim, Tomé Quadros and Bárbara Oliveira, with the support of ESAD and the ERASMUS+ international mobility programme.
