This project proposes the creation of a portable hydrogen generator, designed for outdoor activities and off-grid situations. In view of the growing concern about CO₂ emissions, pollution and the accumulation of waste, this proposal comes as a response to the need for more sustainable energy solutions, offering a clean and efficient source for charging portable electrical equipment in remote or difficult-to-access contexts.
By converting hydrogen into electrical energy, the generator contributes to reducing dependence on fossil fuels and reducing the ecological footprint. This approach not only promotes the use of renewable energy, but also reinforces the commitment to more sustainable practices in areas such as agriculture, where energy autonomy and mobility are essential.
This project was developed as part of the Synthesis Project course, corresponding to the Final Project in Undergraduate in Product Design. The proposal consisted of developing a product based on the theme of energy, with students able to choose between three sub-themes: well-being, fun or safety.
