This collection was developed as part of the Final Project for the Undergraduate Degree in Design — Fashion Design and was presented at the ESAD SHOWCASE, as part of bloom — portugal fashion show. 

How to Make a Doll is based on the idea of an imagined childhood, conceived as an apparently safe and delicate space that gradually reveals itself as a prison. Through the figure of the doll, the collection questions the construction of femininity, reflecting on how docility, youth and fragility are valued and imposed as forms of control over the female body.

Developed primarily through upcycling, the collection reuses and transforms existing garments and materials, embracing a more sustainable approach. The floral dress exemplifies this process: each flower was individually cut, burned and assembled by hand, transforming an element traditionally associated with beauty and delicacy into an irregular, worn and almost organic surface.
