This project was developed as part of the final project of the ESAD Undergraduate Degree in Product Design. The brief challenged students to develop an innovative product based on the theme "Energy", exploring one of three proposed subthemes — Safety, Well-being or Fun — through a process of research, ideation, experimentation and product development.
Developed under the Well-being subtheme, this project proposes an integrated care and well-being system that supports body awareness, emotional self-regulation and the management of stress and anxiety. The proposal is based on understanding the body's signals, promoting a more conscious relationship between technology, emotional health and quality of life.
The system consists of a biometric ring, a mobile application, a primary sensory stimulation device and a portable emergency device connected to a support network. Through physiological monitoring, biofeedback and adaptive sensory stimulation, the project accompanies users from the identification of stress states to the adoption of emotional regulation strategies, combining technology, care and human support in a continuous experience.
