This proposal addresses the final-year project brief for the Undergraduate degree, which is to design a catering space in the Central Pavilion of the Casa da Arquitetura.

"Laila Esh" proposes a private and exclusive restaurant that reinterprets the traditional dining experience. Rather than a single shared space, it is organised into three independent kitchens, creating distinct environments that ensure privacy and exclusivity for each guest.

Architecture plays a central role in shaping the experience. The geometry of the walls defines circulation, creates a sense of intimacy and frames each space as an individual setting. Every unit includes its own kitchen, counter and dining table, allowing guests to actively participate in the culinary process and creating a more immersive dining experience.
