Project developed as the final project for the Undergraduate degree in Digital Arts and Multimedia at ESAD.

"Mais Como Um Eu" is a short film that arose from a desire to explore the fusion between art and personal identity. In this work, I take on the challenge of placing myself at the centre of the narrative, not only as the creator but also as the emotional protagonist, reflecting on the boundaries between the creative self and the inner self.

This short film takes the viewer on a visual and sensory journey, in which the language of cinema is used as a form of inner expression. Through visual metaphors, movement and a more experimental aesthetic approach, I set myself the challenge of translating complex emotions such as doubt, introspection and self-awareness into images that speak for themselves.

This project was, above all, an exercise in vulnerability and overcoming challenges. I confronted my own creative and emotional barriers, using film as a tool for self-reflection and, at the same time, for communicating with the audience. “Mais Como Um Eu” represents a significant milestone in my academic and artistic journey, where the creative process was just as important as the final result. A work in which the personal becomes universal and where art serves as a mirror.
