This collection was developed as part of the Final Project for the Undergraduate Degree in Design — Fashion Design and was presented at the ESAD SHOWCASE, as part of bloom — portugal fashion show. 

Perie is rooted in the observation of everyday life and ordinary objects, reflecting on how routine automates our perception of the world. Inspired by Viktor Shklovsky's concept of ostranenie ("defamiliarisation"), the collection seeks to disrupt this immediate reading by transforming utilitarian forms into deliberately complex compositions.

The collection explores the subversion of scale, function and materiality, enlarging utilitarian elements created through artisanal processes and family co-creation. Fastening systems, joints and functional textures gain structural autonomy, becoming sculptural volumes and three-dimensional accessories that redefine the silhouette and invite a new relationship with clothing, materiality and space.
