This work was developed as part of the KYRT project under the theme ‘Missing Stories,’ marking the completion of the Undergraduate in Design — Communication. Based on the idea of events that fell into collective oblivion after brief moments of attention, the project proposed a critical reflection on the volatility of public memory in the digital age. Using the Google Trends platform, 21 topics with notable peaks of interest between 2012 and 2022 were identified, covering areas such as conflicts, crises, social movements, and climate change. This data, analysed in depth and cross-referenced with intensive research, gave rise to an automated graph based on shades of grey, which made visible the duration of each topic's relevance.

The project takes the form of a fold-out editorial and an interactive website. The former explores the visual reading of the graph and its articulation with images, thematic categories, and regional links, while the latter offers filtered navigation adapted to different devices, including a section where the public can suggest new topics. Both formats were designed to alert the user to the neglect of crucial issues. The final video reinforces this idea, summoning collective memory and recalling the urgency of slowing down the fleeting consumption of information. This work demonstrated how design can take an active role in social criticism and the valorisation of knowledge, using the internet itself as a tool for raising awareness.
