Institutional video developed under a partnership agreement between the Centre of Excellence for Innovation in the Automotive Industry (CEiiA) and ESAD. The project ‘NEBbyAYR - Designing smart and sustainable living in European cities for all’ refers to an initiative presented by the city of Matosinhos and CEiiA within the scope of the New European Bauhaus (NEB) to the European Commission's Horizon Europe programme, with the aim of bringing the European Green Deal into the lives of people and cities. The project brings together more than 20 partners from 7 countries, including universities, schools, companies, associations and communities, and aims to transform life in cities through behaviour that takes into account the integration of sustainability with aesthetics and inclusion, values carbon neutrality and promotes the well-being of people and communities in society. Using the AYR sustainability platform created by CEiiA - winner of the New European Bauhaus 2021 awards - NEBbyAYR will develop and test solutions that include the valorisation of emissions avoided by citizens and carbon sequestration.
