Creative Coding
Technology is increasingly present in our daily lives. Automatisms increase the companies' productivity; algorithms suggest possible data relationships and help us to predict the future and live the present. The use of programming in the artistic context has been growing since the beginning of the century, solidifying generative art and giving artists and designers the possibility to explore more generative aspects in their work. Using Processing language, this workshop aims to explore the concepts of generativity, algorithm and parameterization, in the context of graphic design, seeking visual solutions that express themselves both analogically and digitally, with static or moving representations and with productive or performative performance vectors.
