Workshop
ESAD × CAIS Transformative Workshop
Bring new life to materials. Create accessories by blending product design, storytelling and communication.
In partnership with CAIS Recicla — a workshop that transforms materials and lives — this workshop invites you to explore design as a tool for inclusion, circularity and social transformation.
Working in interdisciplinary teams, Design students (Communication, Fashion and Product Design) are challenged to develop accessories by reusing tarpaulins, within a collaborative, experimental and practical framework.
The workshop offers a co-creation process that brings together social design and the circular economy, exploring upcycling techniques and ways to make the most of existing materials.
The project culminates in the development of a prototype, produced in partnership with CAIS Recicla, with the possibility of continuing production in the workshop.
Get involved and develop a project that makes a real difference, combining creative practice, community and sustainability.
