André Almeida Santos is a product designer and manager advocating for a human-centred approach to market viable and technically feasible artefacts. Holds a masters degree in Design, specializing in Product (2018), where he has been teaching on the product and mobility courses since 2019. 
André received the Samsonite/Nimblebee award (second prize) and regularly collaborates with local design studios to develop a wide range of industrial products for international markets. He took part in several R&D transportation projects in consortium with automotive tier 1 suppliers and OEMs. Designed concept-car interiors for the PAC (Portuguese Auto Cluster) project, integrating technologies and production processes currently being developed by industrial and scientific partners, displayed at international conventions and auto-shows. Focused on bringing a holistic view to product and system design, and passionate about complex problem-solving, resorting to high and low-tech approaches.
