Short Courses
AI Tools for Product Design and Development
Introduction to Artificial Intelligence applied to product design, focusing on generative models, decision support tools, and workflows.
This short course introduces the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its practical application in the product design process, with a special focus on the use of generative models, decision support tools, and AI-assisted workflows. It is aimed at design students interested in exploring new ways of researching, ideating, representing and evaluating concepts with the support of AI-based tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Vizcom, among others. The focus is on critically understanding AI as a working tool, its limitations and potential, and the practical implementation of integrated workflows in project contexts.
