Design and Technology of Modular Kayaks
Prototyping the Sea in partnership with Nelo Kayaks
Developing an extendable modular kayak suitable for one to two seats is the starting point for this course, which explores design methods, digital tools and manufacturing techniques, emphasising sustainability and the circularity of materials. Throughout the course, participants work through all the stages of the product design process: from functional analysis to prototype construction, including technical documentation and communication of the proposal.
