Food Packaging Design
Study of packaging as a structural, technological and communicative interface for identifying food products in the blue economy sector.
The course offers a practical approach to packaging, label and tag design, focusing on enhancing products and brands. The performance and communication functions of packaging are studied, as well as ergonomic aspects such as handling, opening and closing. Sustainability and blue circularity are key themes, promoting the use of renewable, recyclable and low environmental impact materials. The programme also includes the study of legal, logistical and distribution standards, preparing trainees to respond to market demands and ethical and ecological consumption trends, with skills applicable in business and institutional contexts.
Profile
Trainees must be accompanied by their personal computer.
The course may be cancelled or changed if the number of participants is insufficient or in order to achieve a better balance of sessions.

- Integrate theoretical, visual and technological knowledge into packaging development
- Relate packaging and product in their historical, social and functional dimensions
- Analyse and apply eco-design and sustainability principles in the creation of new packaging solutions
- Design and graphically characterise packaging, labels and tags, adjusting them to their performance functions
- Properly use specific packaging design and development software
- Develop creative and innovative projects based on research and clearly communicate their results

Tuition Fee
Fully funded course: exemption from tuition fees, registration, and insurance. A €25,00 fee is required to reserve a place, which will be refunded upon completion of the course.
