Portfolio and Presentation Techniques
Create a portfolio and develop techniques for presentations and job interviews
In an increasingly competitive and interdisciplinary professional environment, the portfolio is a strategic tool for communication, reflection and positioning. More than just a compilation of projects, it constitutes a visual and conceptual narrative capable of conveying the identity, skills and vision of each creative professional. This course on preparing a portfolio in the field of Fashion Design is suited both to the academic context — applications for master’s degrees and other levels of study — and to various stakeholders in the textile and fashion industry — companies and design studios.
The Portfolio and Presentation Techniques course encourages designers to engage in a process of reflection and self-assessment, identifying their strengths, personality and skills, guiding their presentation and highlighting their distinctive characteristics and added value. The selection of projects, sketchbooks and other elements should provide a clear insight into the designer’s characteristics and the unique perspective of their work, taking into account the market segment they wish to target. It serves as a useful tool for approaching the job market and as a means of communication for professional projects.
