Sustainable rehabilitation

— Financed Training (100%) —

This short course explores the role of interior designers in sustainable housing renovation, promoting an integrated approach that combines aesthetics, functionality and environmental responsibility. Through a practical and interdisciplinary methodology, students will be challenged to develop proposals that reconcile spatial identity, comfort and innovation with principles of circular economy, energy efficiency and the use of eco-friendly materials. Throughout the course, national and international case studies will be analysed, as well as sustainable design methodologies applied to contemporary renovation. The programme aims to equip students with the essential skills to work in contexts of renovation and enhancement of built housing heritage, contributing to urban regeneration and the cultural, social and environmental sustainability of spaces.
