Storyboard
From Idea to Visual Narrative
The Storyboard course offers practical immersion in the visual construction of narratives for cinema, animation, video games, and comics. Students learn cinematic language, camera angles, framing, continuity, and rhythm. They develop effective storyboards through gestural drawing, composition, and the use of software, creating references and mood boards. By the end, they will be able to communicate their ideas visually and create professional storyboards.

Skills
- Identify the main concepts of cinematic language and the basic elements of storyboarding.
- Describe the importance of storyboarding in audiovisual production, highlighting its role in narrative planning.
- Correctly use cinematic terminology and camera angles when creating storyboards.
- Compare different approaches to visual composition and narrative continuity in professional storyboards.
- Develop a complete storyboard from a script, integrating characters, settings, and coherent scene transitions.
- Justify the narrative and visual choices made in a storyboard, presenting technical and aesthetic arguments.
- Create a mood board of references for the design of characters and settings for a storyboard.
- Transform a written script into a visual sequence of thumbnails, respecting the structure of the narrative. Identify and correct problems of narrative clarity, visual composition and continuity in your own and your colleagues' storyboards.
Work as a team to develop storyboards, demonstrating communication skills and artistic problem-solving abilities.

Tuition Fee
Fully funded course: exemption from tuition fees, registration, and insurance. A €25,00 fee is required to reserve a place, which will be refunded upon completion of the course.
