Introduction to Haute Couture
Haute Couture remains a benchmark for technical excellence, precision in construction and attention to detail. This course offers a practical introduction to fundamental atelier techniques, exploring finishes, structures and hand-sewing processes associated with the world of Haute Couture. In a context characterised by the accelerating pace of fashion cycles, Haute Couture stands as a counterpoint that values time, the quality of craftsmanship and the uniqueness of each garment. Through hands-on experimentation, participants will develop technical skills applicable to bespoke clothing, contemporary design and the development of personal projects.
