As part of CINANIMA - Espinho International Animation Film Festival, where renowned names of cinema, animation and illustration pass through every year, Louise Mercadier presents the masterclass Caos, Metamorphose and Animation in online format.

The masterclass of the French filmmaker, director and screenwriter, open to the entire school community and to all those interested, is especially directed to students of the Degree in Digital Arts and Multimedia. It takes place on November 12th, at 10:00 a.m., with live broadcast on facebook of the festival.

This extension of CINANIMA at ESAD takes place within the partnership between the two institutions and is part of the program of the 44th edition of the festival, which runs from 9 to 15 November, in Espinho.

Destruction, ruin, disorder. This general confusion of the elements of matter is at the origin of the formation of the world, of its passage from one state to another, and this constant energy never ceases to animate it, to animate us. Chaos, metamorphosis and animation are also the starting points of Louise Mercadier's inspiration, both for her writing and her directing work. From these themes she approaches her work and talks about the films that inspire her and, more generally, about the dynamics that take place through the desire for animation. — CINANIMA
