In Digital Arts and Multimedia you will gain mastery of technologies and artistic languages within the scope of digital culture and immersive environments.

The area of Digital Arts and Multimedia offers you training that will enable you to master technologies and artistic languages in the current and relevant context of digital culture and immersive environments. In Digital Arts and Multimedia you acquire theoretical and practical skills for the production of artistic projects that integrate image, sound, movement and interactivity, using different media and supports, such as photography, animation, cinema, video games and virtual reality and increased. A faculty with extensive professional experience and teaching laboratories with advanced equipment provide artistic and technological training that is attentive to emerging issues in the field of multidimensional creation and its social, cultural and ethical implications.

Profile

Objectives

  • Develop critical thinking and artistic literacy in its many dimensions.
  • Promote the creation and production of solid and technologically consistent multidimensional narratives, linking the fields of image, sound and narrative (photography, drawing, writing, cinematography, soundscape, animation, video games and installation).
  • Create time-bound content with specific resources in the development of projects, recognizing the need for individual and team efforts.
  • Expose the student to professional contexts through contact and work, collaborating with other professionals in the field, respecting diversity and professional ethics.
  • Encourage participation in competitions and collaboration with other national and international institutions, as well as participation in R&D activities.
  • Teach concepts of project management, production and presentation.
  • Encourage autonomous work as a personal research practice and a way of improving communication, procedural, technical and creative skills.
